Hi- If you want to start playing or continue to get better at the guitar, I’m your guy. You’ll have a GREAT time and will learn a lot. I teach private lessons from my dorm in Nashville virtually via Skype, Zoom, and Google Hangouts. I have played guitar for 6 years and have performed with Chad Watson (Janis Ian, ex-Byrds) and Christian Gisborne (Velvet Starlings). I am in my early 20s and took lessons from Norah Jones’ guitarist. I am majoring in commercial guitar at my university here in Nashville and perform as a duo with a female singer/guitarist. Some of my influences are Allan Holdsworth, Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, Michael Landau, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett, Jerry Garcia, and Trey Anastasio. I can teach many styles including rock, blues, country, punk, in addition to improvisation, technique, theory, and sight reading to people no matter what age. I approach lessons from a fun and patient standpoint. I try to mold the lesson around the student because everybody has a different approach to the guitar. I focus on what the player wants to learn while also exposing him or her to similar projects. I have excellent references. Please email me with questions. Thanks!
