CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City Council reorganized this week with Alex Fisch set to serve as mayor heading into 2021. Daniel Lee will serve as Vice Mayor, former Mayor Göran Eriksson will serve as a Councilmember. Newly elected Yasmine-Imani McMorrin and Albert Vera will also serve as Councilmembers. "Voters have trusted each of us to make decisions based on the values that we demonstrated in our campaigns," Fisch said during the council meeting this week. "And they have told us, once again, that they want the City to continue providing the best basic municipal services possible, and to keep working toward the best Culver City that we can imagine. I'm looking forward to a brighter and more prosperous 2021." You can learn more about the Culver City Council on the City Council's website. Regular meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers, unless otherwise noted. Meetings have been virtual throughout the pandemic. Locals can check out the schedule of meetings and upcoming meeting agendas online. See the draft agenda for January 2021.
