TWIN CITIES, MN — The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus climbed to 54 in Minnesota Monday. Ten days have passed since Minnesota's first COVID-19 case was confirmed. A total of 1,893 patients have been tested so far. No deaths have occurred.
Each day, the Minnesota Department of Health releases a map detailing where COVID-19 has spread in the state.
Minnesota Department of HealthThe cases are now in the counties of Anoka, Benton, Blue Earth, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Olmsted, Ramsey, Renville, Stearns, Waseca, Washington, and Wright.
The Minnesota Department of Health confirms community transmission of COVID-19 has happened in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
