"Jumper" Young Male Chinchilla Standard Gray Born 10-17-21 Handled since birth, doesn't bite, friendly, but active - doesn't just sit there. Loves dried tart cherries (no more than 1 every 2-3 days at most). We use Mazuri brand Chinchilla Food. Needs a water bowl - has never used a bottle. Do your research - chins are active, entertaining pets, but not usually coach potatoes. They do need proper food (rabbit and guinea pig pellets are not a good substitute), large cage with room to run/jump, and dust baths. NO CAGE AVAILABLE - recommend large flight cages for smaller birds like Cockatiels with several levels of wooden ledges/shelves. Current cage is 20" deep x 31" wide x 53" tall, bar spacing less than 1/2" (they can squeeze thru surprisingly small spaces) We DO NOT ship or meet. We feel it is in Jumper's best interest not to be transported all over to parking lots where there's a chance of him getting loose. He comes with a baggie of pellets to get you started. Adoption fee is $150.
