Our property management company is seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at our 60+ unit apartment complex in the Fairview/Troutdale/Gresham area. SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday with possible emergency calls on evenings and weekends SALARY: DOE; $16-$19/hr RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a dynamic self-starter that is detail oriented and can prioritize and process work orders. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional and possess the ability to handle stressful situations, while both diffusing them and making quick decisions when needed. The primary role is to ensure safety and maintain curb appeal while completing property maintenance and repairs in a timely manner. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Live On-site • Maintain the facility and grounds • Respond to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours “on call” maintenance requests • Apartment turnovers • Deck and Fencing repairs • Light Painting • Light Plumbing and Electrical • Appliance Repairs • Overseeing vendors and purchases of maintenance supplies REQUIREMENTS: • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance coverage • Possess own tools and have the necessary skills to use them proficiently • 1-3 years relevant experience • Excellent customer service skills for interacting with current residents • Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies • Must be familiar with fair housing regulations HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in this position, please email your cover letter, resume and salary requirements by responding to this ad.
