I need to re-home Keta, our 16 week old Texas Heeler puppy born 11/1/21. We're moving and our new location doesn't accept pets. Keta weighs about 27 lbs and is up to date on vaccinations. The veterinarian believes he'll grow to about 50 lbs when full grown.
He's already potty trained and has learned "sit", "stay", "chow", "ball" and "bone". He's learning "off" and if you say "no" firmly he'll cease whatever he's not supposed to be doing. He loves to stroll away with a flip-flop in his mouth so you have to watch out. He plays hard and crashes hard. Keta's crate-trained and sleeps from about his bed-time of 7:30 pm until 6 or 7 the next morning. He's reluctant to have you put a leash on however the two times we've been to the vet he walks fine while he is leashed. He's very loving and wants attention. I take him outside 3 or 4 times daily and we play ball for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. The couple of times he's been near other dogs (at the vet) he's shown no indication of aggressiveness. When meeting new people he gets very excited and wants them to pet him.
I'm asking a re-homing fee which will include his crate. Feel free to ask anything.
Thanks,
Jim
