Burnsville Man Killed On I-35E Thursday

VADNAIS HEIGHTS, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle that hit and killed a person at about 9:40 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 35E in Vadnais Heights. Demetrae Adair Cody, 39, of Burnsville, left a parked car on the right shoulder of the interstate and was in the lane of traffic when he was struck by a car, police said. The crash happened east of I-694. "We believe the driver involved may not know they hit a person," the State Patrol said. Cody was transported to Regions Hospital after the crash, where he died.
