Skookum is seeking a team player and dependable Grounds Maintenance Porter with a helpful attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: • Shall perform debris, drain, and ditch cleanup. Must wear personal protective equipment daily. • Pick up and remove all rubbish, debris, and trash including, but not limited to, rocks, paper, pinecones, limbs, leaves, animal droppings, and other portable objects within the maintenance area and along the foundation walls and all trash and limbs lodged in shrubs, hedges, and fences. • Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor. • Clean and disinfect exterior entryway. Qualifications: • Three (3) years of experience in Grounds Maintenance or related field preferred, but will train. • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions. • Must be able to provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner. • Demonstrate ability to multi-task throughout workday with constant interruptions. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis. • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Requirements: • Where permitted by applicable law, you must have received the COVID-19 vaccine in full by date of hire to be considered for employment (unless otherwise exempted from this policy by an approved medical or religious exemption). • Valid state Driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance carrier. • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
