HIRING LIFE MODELS male and female for weekly evening adult art classes $20-25/hr commensurate with experience Must be 18+ All body types welcome @unionhallarts on Instagram Union Hall Arts is seeking experienced and new life models for classes beginning March 2022 and continuing throughout the year. We offer classes in Figure Drawing, Cast Drawing, Figure Sculpture, Portrait Sculpture, Figure and Portrait Painting. Union Hall Arts treats all potential models with respect and dignity. We provide space heaters, anti-fatigue mats, a private room to change and lounge area for breaks between poses. Instructor will take measurements from the model at the models discretion and will always ask before approaching the model stand. Typical poses do not exceed 10 min. standing, with five-minute breaks between poses. Classes run between 2-3 hours. About the Instructor: Jim Dessicino (b. 1985) is a figurative sculptor and co-founder of Union Hall Arts. He has exhibited in New York, Rome, Italy, Washington, DC and other US cities. Dessicino taught at University of the Arts, University of Delaware, Stockton University and Fleisher Art Memorial. He worked as studio assistant to MacArthur Fellow Titus Kaphar and has restored artwork for The Legacy Museum and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice, Montgomery, AL as well as for private clients. He holds an MFA from University of Delaware and a BFA from University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
