Grounds Person. We are a company that travels to ski areas all over the US. Applicants must be able to travel. The Ground Person sets up equipment, prepares the steel with various tools including high speed grinders with wire wheels, scrappers, grease removers, sanders, primes (bare or prepared steel.) The Ground Person climbs towers 40’ to 60‘ tall (sometimes up to 300’), hangs or rappels from the towers using static and safety lines, or climbing ropes, and walks the ski lift line to move from tower to tower. The Ground Person lifts and moves paint cans and equipment up to and sometimes more than 50 pounds. The Ground Person operates the radio to control safe movement of the chair lift and is responsible for working safely, using all safety equipment and following all safety rules. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL THE ENTIRE SEASON WE ARE PAINTING. SPRING THRU FALL. YOUR HOUSING AND TRAVEL EXPENSES WILL BE COVERED. APPLICANTS SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY FIT ABLE TO LIFT 60 POUNDS AND MOVE COMFORTABLY AT HEIGHTS
