Description
Gunnar is almost 6 months old, labradoodle, under 40 lbs and fully recovered from his neuter surgery. He's crate trained and very social with medium to high energy and moderate prey drive. So far he ignores the cats when he's at liberty or "talks" to them when they come to flaunt their freedom to move about the house...cattitude! I don't think a timid or insecure cat would be a good match...if it runs or squeaks his prey drive might be an issue. Gunnar loves to play fetch and is great with dogs of similar size, best to avoid overstimulation or dogs who are distressed or overexcited. He's not one to start a fight but he's a sensitve guy and will match the energy of dogs around him. He'd make a good running/jogging/hiking or beach companion since he has enough energy to keep up with you but he is quiet in the crated during downtime. He can sleep through the night without accidents and knows the go potty command. He's learning to get attention by being calm and relaxed...all 4 paws on the ground. He's good on leash and fully vaccinated so he can go to training classes, dog park, dog beach, etc. He isn't free, his breeder sold him to someone who lost their housing and I paid his rehoming fee to help them out even though I knew I would be rehoming him. I've worked with him for the last 60 days to make sure he's healthy and has a good foundation for his forever home. His parents were purebred lab and standard poodle but no pedigree was provided. He can be registered CKC and Embark DNA tested.
