Jazz Jam session- Mar 13th

On Sunday, March 13th I’m hosting a jam session for jazz musicians in Orange County. Please send an email message with your name, email, number, what instrument you play, and your level of playing. I will send you the address and more details within the next few days. We usually have a few horns, drummers, guitar, and bass. Horns are always welcome, piano, singers, etc, all are welcome. This is for straight ahead jazz standards, not fusion, not post-modern jazz, not blues, not world music. Straight ahead jazz. Bebop, swing, cool jazz, hard bop, some latin (bossa nova) is all OK. I have been doing these for months. I usually circulate a list of tunes for those who might not know every standard, but I also include an opportunity for people to call tunes that are not on the list. This event is free, it's at a large house in Tustin, the music goes from 1pm-4pm on a Sunday afternoon.
