(NOTE: most of us are either un-vaxxed, vaxxed, but non-boosted, and somewhat red-pilled. You don't have to be. Just be OK that we are.) In search for a synth/keyboard player for weekly fun jam sessions of cover songs to burn off steam. Not needing a pro keyboardist. Just someone who can do chords and simple riffs to help the songs sound complete and full. Playing other instruments and/or singing would be a plus, since not everyone will be able to make every practice all the time and we like to switch up on instruments. Our current lineup includes: two female singers and the rest guys (rhythm gtr, lead gtr, bassist, and drummer) who also sing backup. All of us are easy-going and in our early 30's to late 50's. Genre of music we're doing is a mixture of later 80's modern rock, alt rock, shoegaze, grunge, post-grunge, some punk pop, etc, and sometimes we just do karaoke when not everyone can show up. Each person will help choose songs to build a setlist. We jam at my house mostly midday on the weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and sometimes midday during the week (3:30-6pm). We just moved the music studio out into the garage which has lots of space. Music equipment includes a PA, mics/stands, tube guitar amps, bass amp, synth & stand (Korg X5DR module w/ midi controller), and a nice drum set. We keep the volume controlled as to not disturb the neighbors, or blow our ear drums out. We're open to occasionally playing out somewhere, if all the pieces fall into place.
