BURNSVILLE, MN — A total 130 people have died from the coronavirus in Dakota County, according to statistics from the Minnesota Department of Health. More than 8 thousand cases of the virus have been confirmed in the county since March.
The median case age is 35, and the median age of people who have died is 83. As of Wednesday, 33 people are hospitalized because of COVID-19 in Dakota County.
Burnsville has a higher case rate than most other cities in Dakota County.
