Strong woman to help a 175 lb young woman with physical disabilities. She requires significant assistance with transfers. Looking for a friendly person who can assist in using her walker, getting her from wheelchair into pool and out, driving her to the local YMCA pool so she can swim (independently) as well as driving to and from other activities. Assisting her with showering, dressing, and other activities of daily living. We have excellent home lift equipment that makes toileting and showering fairly easy. We supply vehicle for her travel. Requires a valid Connecticut drivers license and willing to drive to and from local YMCA, local school activities and other activities within approximately a 10 mile or less radius of our home. This does not require specialized education. This is a part time position - flexible, but looking for help M-F evenings (7 - 10 pm or so). Also, Fridays from about 3 - 8/9 and Saturdays about 12 - 5. Important: If there is nothing for you to do, if my daughter is in bed resting, for instance, it is expected that you do some light housekeeping like sweeping floor, tidying her room, washing dishes etc. BONUS: $30 per hour ONLY for PERFECT work attandance. If you come and work during ALL your scheduled times with NO ABSENSES or significant tardiness, for a full 28 days, I will pay you $30 per hour for the entire month. Otherwise, the pay is $24 per hour paid weekly. NON-VACCINATED (for covid) preferred.
