Visit a hidden gem in the heart of Burlington to learn about the geology of our area and practice tree identification in the woods of Ethan Allen Park with Naturalist Gene O. Desideraggio. This site has an interesting social and geological history, and a myriad of interesting plants and natural features. This walk will be in person; social distancing will be required and face coverings strongly encouraged for those who have not completed their vaccination cycle. City Market, Onion River Co-op, is a community-owned food cooperative with two locations in beautiful Burlington, Vermont. We offer a large selection of local, organic and conventional foods, and thousands of Vermont-made products. Our Downtown and South End stores are open daily. We offer over a dozen classes each month - engaging and inspiring cooking, gardening, and wellness classes taught by wonderful local instructors. Classes are offered at a discounted rate for City Market Members. Find out more about becoming a member here.   Parking: Please note that parking in the City Market Downtown lot is not available for class participants. There is free 2-hour parking available at the Burlington City parking garages, located on Bank Street and Cherry Street. Parking in the City Market South End lot is permitted.
