Description
Get your hands on our oldest postcards: Join us for a guided "dig" into the David P. Campbell Postcard Collection. Join us for a hands-on, guided exploration of the oldest postcards in the David P. Campbell Postcard Collection. We're going way back to the 19th century - before postcards ever had a place to clear place to write a message. What to expect? We're pulling the binders off the shelves for a guided "dig." Following a series of prompts, you'll be flipping the pages and deciphering handwriting to uncover the history of how the postcard came to be. Health & SafetyThe University of Akron currently requires that ALL individuals - regardless of vaccination status - wear a mask / face covering in indoor public areas across all campuses. Please stay home if you do not feel well, have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.
