Join AIA Colorado and Herman Miller for a presentation on human needs in the shifting workplace alongside an architectural exhibit at CVA 5:30 - 6 p.m. - Networking6 - 6:45 p.m. - CEU Presentation6:45-7:30pm - Gallery Tour, "Design for the Common Good" Exhibit Co-presented by AIA Colorado, Herman Miller (now MillerKnoll), and Center for Visual Art , Metropolitan State University of Denver. Work is shifting from the office to everywhere, but despite this shift, our fundamental human needs have not changed. We will explore these needs that are common to all, yet unique to each in terms of how they need them supported. Thought starters around the design, operations, and strategy will also be discussed. During the 45-minute interactive CEU presentation, learn more about the connections between the fundamental human needs and the places we work, and discover new ways to support them, regardless of where work happens. Following the CEU, join us for an exclusive tour of the Design for the Common Good International Exhibition at the CVA. Featuring artifacts, photos, and design process graphics from 30 global projects, Design for the Common Good International Exhibition brings the extraordinary value of public interest design to the forefront.
