Learn about growing veggies, including straw bale and container gardening, and composting! In-person class. This class is Friday, February 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pueblo County Extension office, 701 Court St., Second Floor, Pueblo, CO 81003. Instructor: Kata Schmidt, Colorado Master Gardener. Learn tips and techniques for successful vegetable gardening in Pueblo. Topics include straw bale gardening, gardening in containers, composting, plant selection, and irrigation. Deadline to register: March 17 at Noon. Seating is limited. Colorado State University Extension, in cooperation with Pueblo County, the State of Colorado and the     U. S. Government provides a variety of educational programs in the areas of youth development, family and consumer sciences, agriculture and natural resources, horticulture, and community development.
