I NEED help. I'm again in a situation where I need to find my dog a permanent home. I tried this once before and it turned out bad. I'm desperate to find my boy a good home. I work 7 days a week,up to 10 hours a day on a weekday. I have a Shepard/Husky mix. He's over 5 now. I can get his exact birthday. Him and I have been through so much and I need him to go to a good home. He is VERY protective of women and children. To the point where he has bit a few men now throughout the years. He's great with other animals, I've had him around small dogs, big dogs, cats, chickens. He's not a killer. But he's so protective of his family. He's a great running partner but tends to pull if he can get away with it. He is fixed and up to date and registered in Lane County. He's chipped. I'm bawling as I'm typing this but I really am desperate. He's kennel trained but can be protective of his space unless your the "mom". He needs space to stretch. Not run run because he is fixed and definitely somewhat lazy but when he's alone he struggles. I can't ask Greenhill because when I found him the last time they were about to put him down because he was so aggressive in their kennel. He needs a good home. He will thrive in a good home. Someone with some property is preferred. He LOVES to go hiking and camping. He will stay with you in the campsite. I think he might have early signs of cataracts. I see a clowd on his eyes that the vets haven't noticed. It could just be me but it's had me concerned. He's smart. I trained him with silent sign. It took him a few tries after the last time I lost him but he did end up remembering his sign training from before. He can sit,lay down, and speak all with signing.....when he wants! 😑🙄 He needs a peaceful place to be a dork. But I need to be able to come see him. Even to meet in a park and say hi.....tell him I love him. He needs to go to a family. ABSOLUTELY NO drug users. He needs a STABLE home.
