“Dallas Green Light Celebration” and Watch Party In honor of Black History Month, TRUCEMedia Films Dallas invites the community to attend a “Dallas Green Light Celebration” and Watch Party to kickoff plans for an economic reboot of North Texas with plans for “Dallywood” – Dallas’s equivalent of Hollywood. The event, beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, will be held on the sprawling grounds of Skyline Ranch, 1801 E Wheatland Rd in Dallas. Attendees can sample tasty fare in a festive atmosphere while listening to entertainment and meeting social, civic and community leaders. “Some of the greatest benefits are our plans to support the hopes and dreams of talented youth in our community,” says Linda Olden Smith, owner of TRUCEMedia and screenwriter for the upcoming feature film Eclipse of the Truth whose trailer is being premiered at the event. The event will feature the film’s trailer and highlight plans to create learning opportunities for young people along with the vision that supports local actors, writers, comedians and recording artists in being successful professionals of tomorrow. “What an exciting time for the Dallas/Fort Worth area,” Smith says.
