ABOUT THE ARTIST EVEN THE LOSERS: THE MUSIC OF TOM PETTY with John Mead and the True Believers Forty years of songs by one of our greatest and most lamented rock & rollers—a night of music brought to you by Chicago singer, guitarist, and bandleader John Mead and his long-time cohorts, all of whom met at the city’s Old Town School of Folk Music: Peter Manis on drums, Alton Smith on keys, Chris Corsale on guitar, and the great John Abbey on bass. The show will also feature guest vocalist Rachel Drew. SPACE is a live music hall in Evanston, Ill., established in 2008.
