Show N Go THERE ARE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS EVENT. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO FOLLOW ALL THESE GUIDELINES, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER.Infection Control DirectivesSince we cannot know who each person comes in contact with during everyday life, we ask you to comply with the following directives. Please remember many exhibitors/friends are part of the higher risk group. We need to work together to keep everyone safe. If you are ill, do not come. Everyone will BE REQUIRED to sign a “Waiver” and have their temperature taken before they will be allowed to exhibit their dog. Minimize Personal Contact: Everyone is encouraged to have the Waiver completed prior to arrival. We prefer to limit the use of community pens.When inside the building, you MUST wear a mask/face covering over your nose and mouth. Anyone not complying will be asked to leave the premises and will not receive a refund on their entries.Exhibitors are NOT REQUIRED to wear gloves. You may wear gloves, if you so choose. Minimize touching surfaces as much as possible.All volunteers will all wear masks while in the building.NO chairs will be provided.Social distancing and masks will be enforced inside the building. They are strongly encouraged outside the building as well. We recommend LIMITING group gatherings while outside. At the least, use masks & appropriate social distancing protocols.You may bring lawn chairs, mats, battery fans, etc. to use while waiting to exhibit.Every exhibitor may exercise their dog(s) in the yard at the back of the building. Return promptly to your vehicle and remain there until you are instructed to enter the premises. Remember, LIMIT group gatherings in the back yard & parking lot, wear your mask, and practice appropriate social distancing. Crating: Due to Covid-19, we have limited crating. Only volunteers will be allowed to crate indoors. Everyone else will have to crate from your car.Volunteers: You DO NOT need to be a DTCDC member to volunteer. Volunteer for at least two hours and if you have a dog to run-through, you will receive 10 minutes of ring time and be able to crate in the building while volunteering. Volunteers are needed to help run dogs through, steward, assist in notifying exhibitors when they can enter the building & clean-up.Entries: PRE-ENTRY ONLY & STRICT ADHERANCE TO SCHEDULED TIMES. ENTRIES LIMITED TO 7 HOURS. (8 AM – 3 PM)Only one run per dog per class (Utility/Grad Open; Open/Grad Nov will be considered one class at this time)Dogs entered in Utility only will begin at 8 am. Expect to show early.Dogs entered in Utility & Open will follow. Open runs in the same order as Utility runs.Dogs entered in other classes will be next. Expect to show after lunch & early afternoon.You should not have to arrive more than 15 minutes before your scheduled ring time.Park, open up your vehicle and come up to the pop-up tent in front of the building to check in. Your temperature will be taken to confirm it is in the normal range (97°F - 99°F) before you will be allowed in the building.Everyone has a specific time slot(s) and you will be notified when to be ready to come into the building for your run(s).You should be ready to come into the building when the dog scheduled ahead of you has entered the ring. You will have the time scheduled for the dog ahead of you to warm your dog up in the building. This will continue for each class. You will have ample room to warm up when inside. Leashes/Dumbbells/Articles/Utility gloves will be handled with gloves, put out with tongs, or placed on a sanitized surface.It will be your responsibility to sanitize your equipment after you leave.If you are participating in a group exercise, please maintain appropriate CDC recommended social distance of 6 feet from one another.We cannot permit guests in the building. No exceptions.When using the bathroom, enter and leave the building using the back door. WASH HANDS according to the CDC recommendations.NO DRINKS/FOOD ON PREMISE. Dog treats are allowed. No spitting of food to your dog.Bring your own dog bowl & water in order to minimize contact & traffic to and from the bathroom.THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE. THESE DIRECTIVES WILL BE UPDATED AS THE SITUATION CHANGES. We are all in this together & by working together we can have this opportunity to proof our dogs and socialize within the parameters outlined. (5 minutes minimum/10 minutes maximum) Pre-entries close at noon on Friday before event. Classes: Utility, Grad Open, Open, Grad Novice, Novice, Beginner Novice Building opens at 7:30AM Utility/Grad Open will start promptly at 8am All other classes begin after Utility/Grad Open. (Open/Grad Novice/Novice/Beg Nov) Schedule for pre-entries will be emailed on the Friday before the event which is subject to change. Please be present when it is your turn to show or you will be moved down the list. The building is climate controlled, has observation mirrors, exercise area, and ample parking. Soft drinks and water are for sale with many local fast food restaurants close by. Directions: 604 Crestside Drive, Duncanville 75137. South of I-20 on Hwy 67 Driving south on Hwy 67: Take Cockrell Hill Rd exit, continue through that intersection to stay on the access road. Turn right on Crest Lane (first right). Turn left on Crestside (first left) until you see the Clubhouse on your left before you reach the end of the block. It is a white brick building with black paw prints across the front. Driving north on Hwy 67: Take Cockrell Hill Rd exit turning left at the light onto Cockrell Hill Rd. Cross over Hwy 67 and turn left at the next light onto the frontage road going south. Then follow the directions above by turning right on Crest Lane. We reserve the right to refuse service. Our mission is to promote training programs that will develop obedient and happy dogs which will be a source of pleasure and pride to their families and good canine citizens in their community. We promote responsible dog ownership through obedience and other dog related activities. Classes for the public include: Puppy, Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Novice, Beginner Open, Utility, Novice Rally, Advanced Rally, Conformation, Nosework, and Utility.
