Volunteer Work Day in the forest, pulling broom seedlings
Space is limited to 15 people.
Its's springtime in the forest and that means weed seedlings are emerging and aiming for dominion over the forest!
Come spend the morning in the redwood forest with us while we hand pull these invasive weeds. Broom is relatively easy to pull at this young stage.
Bring plenty of drinking water and snacks as needed. Light refreshments will be provided.
Volunteers will meet our staff at the Jenner Visitors Center, across Highway 1 from the gas station in the town of Jenner. From there we will all drive into the forest then hike a short distance to our work site.
Regarding Covid-19: If you feel sick or if you have recently been exposed to anyone with a positive diagnosis, please stay home.
Registration is required as we are limiting the number of participants.
