Tennessee Whiskey 202 is the third of seven of the most basic Classes offered at Whiskey University and is summary Capsule of all things Tennessee Whiskey. (NOTE: classes do not need to be taken in order)
Tennessee Whiskey 202 is first and foremost a History of the whiskey industry inside the State of Tennessee from 1810-2020. In terms of volume this class is concentrated around the only two major Distilleries in the state of Tennessee that make up almost 98% of all whiskey in Jack Daniel’s and George Dickel. It also mentions several up and coming medium distilleries in Middle Tennessee. This course explains in detail the difference between Whiskey, Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey.
During the Tennessee Whiskey Tasting, you will try both familiar and rare whiskies from throughout the State of Tennessee. These include, but not limited to; Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 (Black Label), George Dickel No. 12 (Beige Label), Prichard’s Double Barrelled Bourbon, Nelson's Green Brier, Jack Daniel's Gold #27, Corsair Triple Smoke, Jack Daniel Single Barrel, and George Dickel Hand Selected Barrel.
