Teni Rane & Beth Snapp LIVE at The Woodshop Listening Room The Woodshop Listening Room Presents: Teni Rane + Beth Snapp April 2, 2022 Doors at 7, Music at 8 $10 presale tickets, $15 day of show FOOD + BEER + WINE + LIVE MUSIC ----------------------------------------------------------------- TENI RANE Teni Rane grew up in and around a community of Chattanooga musicians who helped nurture in her an early love for music. Through each stage of her writing life, her original songs have revealed a level of maturity that allows her to weave common experiences into songs that captivate people in every age range. Her vocals carry power and finesse rolled together with perfect balance to evoke the emotional feel of her lyrics, and her Americana-take on select covers is delightfully unexpected and well-received by a wide demographic. As a child she was often found belting out lyrics in the back seat on the way to just about anywhere. That six CD changer exposed her to the writing of Nanci Griffith, Carol King, Beth Woods, John Prine, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and many other greats. The resulting flavor of her original work is an eclectic mix influenced by the earliest writing she encountered, as well as by contemporary pop music. BETH SNAPP Beth Snapp is an Americana-fusion singer-songwriter heralding from the mountains of Northeast TN. Snapp focuses on a fairly cerebral, but still inviting and empathetic approach to songwriting, with the goal of human connection. For those that have followed her career over the course of the past years,… Snapp’s always made it a habit to dig deep into the music and musings that have always inspired and sustained her. Ultimately, it earned her continued kudos from those who found themselves enticed by her unerringly accessible fusion of folk, bluegrass, roots and pure pop, and as a result, the accolades have been abundant. She was named a 2019 Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk Contest semi-finalist, and in 2020 alone, she scored a string of critical kudos. She also had the honor of being selected by the Tennessee Department of Tourism and the Bluebird Cafe as the 2020 Tennessee Songwriter’s Week Showcase Winner. In addition, she emerged as a 2020 Songwriter Serenade Finalist and was listed among Music Connection’s Hot 100 Unsigned Artists of 2020. The Woodshop is an intimate live music venue and neighborhood pub on the outskirts of the historic St. Elmo neighborhood.  Since 2015, our goal has been to assemble and host a network of musicians and makers who are local to or traveling through the area. With our resources, they are able to create, present, or record their work in front of an appreciative audience.
