We are a Service end, glass and glazing company located in San Francisco. We currently have several open positions for qualified, full-time glazier and glazier apprentice. We would like to encourage you to read our ad before responding. Apprentice applicants: We will happily train the right candidate, if you lack experience, but have good work ethic and strong desire to learn. We will invest in you as long as you are also willing to invest on your own future and look at this as your future career. Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of glass or construction related work experience. • Able to communicate effectively. English is a must. • Able to write clearly and legibly. • Have a valid California driver’s license and a clean DMV record. • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude for safe use of basic hand tools. • Be able and prepared to provide your own hand tools or be prepared to purchase the necessary tools within three (3) months of employment. • Show up to work on time, clean, cut, shaved neat and leave your personal problems at home. • Able and willing to work from ladders and scaffolds. • Maintain a clean and orderly job site. • Regularly lift upwards of 70lbs. • Stand/kneel for periods of time. • Understand and follow directions, ask questions if further explanation is needed. • Cut and provide materials to Glaziers while working under the supervision. • Accept constructive criticism without argument or offense. Full experience glaziers: Initial Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of service glazier. Glaziers with construction-glazing experience are welcome to apply as long as they have at least 10 years of service experience. • Must be able to communicate effectively. English is a must. • Must be able to write clearly and legibly. • Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent. • Must have a clean DMV record as well as a reliable means of transportation. • Must have a minimum of 10 years in service side of glazing industry. • Must have Full knowledge of construction concepts. • Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and safe use of all basic hand tools. • Must be able and willing to work from ladders and scaffolds. • Manage glazier helpers working with. • Maintain a clean and orderly job site. • Regularly lift upwards of 80lbs, stand for long periods of time. • Understand and follow directions of project managers, ask questions if further explanation is needed. • Cut and provide materials for projects as necessary. • Accept constructive criticism without argument or offense. Although you must be able to have full command of English language, being bilingual is a plus.
