RKI Instruments, Inc., an innovative and growing gas detection company located in Union City, CA is looking for a detail-oriented person with a strong shipping background as well as excellent communication skills to work in a fast-paced demanding environment. Responsibilities Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs Process orders based on the buyer's preferred shipping system (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) Prepare hazardous material packages and paperwork according to regulations from both IATA and CFR Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed Requirements A High School Diploma Minimum 3 years of related work experience Hazmat Certified preferred Computer proficient using UPS Online WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager We offer a competitive salary, medical benefits, 401K, and profit sharing.
