Brief introduction to the pipe organ for youth ages 12-18. 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM demonstration of the effects and capabilities of pipe organs as shown on the 91-rank 4 manual pipe organ at La Casa de Cristo 11:30 - noon - attendees may try out the organ with a short piece if desired. Bring a hymn, short piano piece, or piece for organ if you want to have this experience. noon - pizza, question/answer, tour the pipes All participants will receive a free organ lesson with a local instructor, to be scheduled at your convenience at a later date.
