Welcome to the 2022 Conference for Graduate Scholarship on Power, Adversity, and Networks!
We are excited to see you at the inaugural graduate-student conference! This year's theme is Crisis, Change, and Continuity, and we have a wonderful and exciting set of panels that showcase the geographically, chronologically, and disciplinary diversity of this theme. The event will take place over three days. On Friday evening, we will host our Keynote Event at the Arizona History Museum with Professor Alex Hidalgo as our keynote speaker, who will present his talk "Rebel Yell and the History of Subversive Voices in Colonial Mexico." On Saturday, conference participants will share their research and engage in scholarly discussions throughout the day. On Sunday, we have time set aside for the optional exploration of Tucson, where we will provide detailed handouts on the variety of things to see in and around the city.
