About the Tip Tops The Tip Tops Band are some of our favorite regulars at Live at Five! They are a high-energy dance and show band based out of Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida . The musical emphasis is 60's, Motown and rhythm and blues. The 4 Tops, Otis Redding, The Temptations, and Marvin Gaye are just a sample of the artists The Tip Tops touch on. Mix in some 50's from Elvis and Sam Cooke and some 80's from Kool and The Gang and The Commodores and then add some 90s R n B and some current top 40 hits and you have 5 decades of musical history.
