Looking for a summer job? The Merrimack Parks & Recreation is now accepting applications for positions for summer 2022. Positions with Parks & Recreation offer invaluable skill-building, leadership, training, and enrichment opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else! These positions are a guaranteed 40 hours per week for those that want it and all positions below are Mondays – Fridays only (No Nights or Weekends) and run from Mid-June - Late August 2022 with a few positions that begin in early June. Junior Camp Counselors: (Ages 16 & 17) - 10.25 Per HourSenior Camp Counselors: (Ages 18 and up) - $11.25 Per HourDay Camp Office Secretary: (Ages 18 and up) -$15.98 Per Hour 1:1 Special Needs Aide: (Ages 18 and up) - $12.10-$16.34/hrSeasonal Park Maintainer (Ages 18 and up)- $13.03 Per HourWaterfront Director (Age 21+) - $17.74 - $21.93 Per HourLifeguards (Ages 16+) - $15.00 Per Hour (Full & PT Available)Water Safety Instructors (WSI) (Ages 16+) - $15.00 Per Hour*For newly certified Lifeguards or Swim Instructors; if you come work for us for the summer, we will reimburse you 100% of the cost of the certification.
