PITTSBURGH, PA — Christina Spicuzza begged for her life before she was shot in the head during a robbery last week while working as an Uber driver. Allegheny County police on Friday detailed the last moments of the life of Spicuzza, 38 and a mother of four, and the charges facing her accused killer. Calvin Crew, 22, of Penn Hills, is charged with criminal homicide, robbery and tampering with evidence. Spicuzza's body was found Saturday in a wooded area in the Pittsburgh suburb of Monroeville. A day earlier, her family reported her missing after she didn't return home the previous evening after picking up several Uber fares. Her vehicle later was found in a neighboring community where Crew's girlfriend lives. "We believe this is a robbery," county police Superintendent Christopher Kearns said at a news conference to discuss the case. Police said a dashboard camera in Spicuzza's car that Crew discarded, but later recovered by authorities, showed the exchange between the two before Crew disabled the device. According to police, Spicuzza said, "Come on, I have a family." The man in the video, who held a gun to her neck, said that he had one as well. "I'm begging you, " Spicuzza said. "I have four kids."
