STATE COLLEGE, PA — The death last fall of a 19-year-old Penn student who plunged 11 stories down a trash chute has been ruled an accident by the Centre County Coroner. Justine Gross of Summit, New Jersey, died of blunt force trauma, according to a release from the State College Police Department. An autopsy revealed the presence of THC and an elevated level of alcohol in her body at the time of her death. "At this time, no new information has been obtained by State College Police or the Centre County Coroner's Office to indicate that this death is criminal in nature," the release stated. "Justine Gross' injuries are consistent with a fall from the 11th floor of her apartment building." Absent any new information or evidence, the investigation has concluded, police said.
