CROYDON, PA — Officials are currently investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a SEPTA train on the morning of Friday, Feb. 18.
The incident is believed to have occurred not far from the Croydon station around 7 a.m., according to SEPTA.
The striking train is currently stopped near Bensalem Township in the vicinity of Haunted Lane. It parked in the area around 7:30 a.m.
SEPTA has halted service on the Trenton Line as the investigation goes on.
Officials are unsure exactly where the impact occurred, or why the pedestrian was on the tracks in the first place.
