Here's how it works. Someone posts something in one of the many designated sections. So now others have the choice to either reply there in that section and or reply to the poster via email thru CL. If one elects to reply in the section they open themselves up for others to reply back. The other choice is the email reply. If you choose this then remember you initiate the email thread. And out of courtesy that person will reply back. So if you dont want to be emailed back, it's simple dont reply back. If you dont reply back and that person continues to email you then that can be reported as harrassment. So it's your choice.
