5 year old male beagle-bluetick coonhound mix. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He is a very cuddly and loving dog once he opens up, which can take some time due to his abandonment issues. He has separation anxiety so would need to be crated when left alone at home. History: Adopted from Franklin County dog shelter in Oct 2019. Already microchipped and neutered. Previous family unresponsive to efforts to reunite. We Suspected abuse from previous owner due to observed behaviors (flinching, hiding/defensive when yelled at, especially by males). Ideal home would not have any small children or older kids who do not understand or respect animal boundaries. He had been exposed to kids 8+ and does like them, but in short quantities of time. Due to his high prey drive and food aggression, he should also not be in a home with cats. Other dogs are OK. Rehoming fee applies.
