Job purpose A Laborer is to aid in assisting any and all personnel with precise instruction with the intent of learning new skills to further their knowledge of equipment and move into a more defined roll. You must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands. Being in good collaboration and following instructions and safety rules, are also important. Duties and responsibilities • Assist Tradesman and machine operator in construction projects • Gather tools, and components for use in construction • Learn how to properly use required tools and machines • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Power washing and sand blasting responsibilities Qualifications Qualifications include: • Able to work in a team • Good communication • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves ect.)
