StoneTree Golf Club Head Mechanic Position StoneTree Golf Club, a Bay Club property, is accepting applications for an experienced Golf Course Mechanic to manage and maintain our fleet of Golf Course Equipment. StoneTree is located 30 miles north of San Francisco and is known for its restored-wetland holes, bay waters, coastal mountains, and vineyards. StoneTree is an established premier semi-private golf club. This position reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent. A successful candidate will be a self starter, a team player and sees the big picture of the operation. StoneTree Golf Club Maintenance continues to be dedicated to the future of golf, top playing surfaces and a professional work environment. Our facility stays committed to a stringent equipment preventive maintenance program, innovative practices and capital replacement to ensure the best overall product. The StoneTree Golf Course Mechanic is an integral part of the management team on a daily basis. This team includes the Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Mechanic and Irrigation Technician. Our current fleet of equipment is a majority of Toro, along with a few other manufacturers. Qualifications: 3+ years experience as Head Mechanic, Equipment Technician or Assistant Equipment Technician High School Diploma Valid Driver's License Associates Degree or Certificate from an accredited technical school or college preferred but not required Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to create a strong Preventive Maintenance Program & Record keeping Experience with ordering from local vendors Embraces daily use of technology and the ability to evolve with modern day practices Excellent Attitude Exceptional customer service Experience with: Extensive knowledge with hydraulic and diesel systems Proficient in the understanding in electrical schematics and troubleshooting Working knowledge and care of reel, rotary and bed knife grinding Gasoline and Diesel engine experience Small engine repair (2 stroke & 4stroke) Tractor repair and implements Tire Repair Sprayer and Pump service Salary: 70K - 75K DOE Benefit Information: 401k (after 1st year) Health, Dental, Vision PTO Golfing Privileges Uniforms Tools are supplied and budgeted for
