Hi! I'm 26 and have been playing bass since the pandemic began (I also have a little knowledge with a few other instruments and enjoy singing, but bass is my main instrument at the moment). I recently moved to the area and have been missing jam sessions with friends, so I'm interested in potentially finding other people to play music with. You don't have to be the most experienced player -- just interested in the fun of playing music with other people, maybe writing some songs and performing locally at some point in the future if there's interest! I have a working knowledge of music theory so it's always helpful if you do too, but I'm sure we could figure things out either way. I'm particularly interested in playing with fellow non-dudes which I say since this listing category seems to lean male heavy, but that doesn't have to be a hard line. A little about me: I'm a queer woman who's musically inspired by artists like Mitski, Faye Webster, Raveena, Lucy Dacus, a whole bunch of others but you get the idea.
