General laborer positions available. Must be 18 years old to apply with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Will train. Busy landscape / general laborer company servicing Pickerington, Etna, Pataskala, Canal Winchester areas mostly. Benefits: Outside work, doing different tasks throughout the day, eventually you will create your own schedule / workload. Required skills: Ability to speak, read, and write in English Familiar with the areas around Central Ohio and be able to drive to job sites Read a map or use a map program on phone Ability to follow instructions Must be able to list heavy objects at times - boards, bags of sand, mulch, concrete mix Preferred skills: *A calm, relaxed, quiet personality type best suited for this position *be organized, reliable, punctual, with good attendence skills *Ability to prioritize multiple tasks (once familiar) *Ability to refrain from texting while driving and working *Detail oriented *Goal Oriented *Ability to listen with your eyes as well as your ears *Ability to problem solve *Common - mechanical sense *Ability to complete tasks without a lot of supervision *knowledge of general handtools, plus yard tools such as trimmer, weedwhacker, blowers a plus This job requires you to be on your feet most of your workday. If you cannot walk, stand, bend over several times during the work day, or lift items up over your head, do not apply. Job descriptions: Construction: general laborer - • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards • Load or unload building materials to be used in construction • Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures (take apart form-boards) • Operate or tend equipment and machines used in construction – bobcat • Assist craftworkers with their duties – grunt work Landscape: • Clean and prepare lawn / landscape equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers) • Load or unload landscape materials to be used in landscaping (topsoil, mulch, plants) • Operate or tend equipment and machines used in construction – bobcat (bobcat used to loading materials) Start at 8am (M-F) with weekend work available. Year round servicing. Work available in rain or shine Full time 40 hours a week + Over time depending on workload. $15 to start with increases and bonuses available
