Press release from the City of Fargo: December 7, 2020 The City of Fargo and the Fargo Street Department is encouraging residents and visitors in Fargo to sign up for Cass Clay Alerts, a citizen alert system. For the optimal experience, Cass Clay Alerts users who live or work in Fargo should subscribe to Fargo Streets notifications. Doing so will provide direct notification of the Snow Emergency Declarations as well as emergency street closures throughout the year. Follow-up messages will occur when a declaration has been lifted and/or when a street has reopened. Notification of these events will occur several days in advance through Cass Clay Alerts, as well as local media, the City's website and social media pages. Residents of Cass and Clay Counties may visit CassClayAlerts.gov to create an account. To ensure Snow Emergency alerts are received, subscribe to Fargo Streets. Alternatively, users may simply text 'FargoStreets' to 888777.
