Several days ago, a nervous but very sweet little Chihuahua boy showed up in my yard with no collar. I have thoroughly searched for his owners using every possible method available, and have found nothing. This guy definitely does not deserve to be taken to the pound, but I cannot keep him because I already have plenty of animals. So I am looking for a good and loving home. He is neutered and microchipped. I estimate he is about five years old. I have no idea about his vaccination status, so you would need to take him to the vet and get him all the shots he should have. He loves to play with squeaky toys, give kisses, and curl up in your lap. He is an impressively high jumper and he loves to go on walks. We have been calling him Pico, and he is already responding to that name, which means if you gave him a new name he would probably learn it quickly too. He seems very quick to latch onto a person and feel protective of him or her. He seems to like women more than men, but he does like my husband and son -- just not as much as he likes me. :-) We have cats, and he seems indifferent to them. We have another dog, and he doesn’t mind too much, but does not like to share with her. He doesn’t seem to know any commands, but he’s smart and so I’m sure he can learn. He is vocal - i.e. he'll let you know when someone is walking by the house. He is good with young children. $30 rehoming fee to recoup what I've spent on him and to show your good intent.
