MAINTENANCE PORTER - Providence Point (Issaquah, WA) HOAMCO is managing Providence Point - an Active 55, non-profit, community consisting of 1,008 residential units within 156 buildings plus four (4) community buildings. It is situated in a 161-acre garden style landscaped and natural-areas property divided into seven villages, each having their own association including president and board. The overall governance for the community is provided by an Umbrella Board Association with officers and at least one director from each village. Apply today and become part of our team! Position: PPUA (Providence Point Umbrella Association) is seeking a full-time Maintenance Porter to become the newest member of our Maintenance Team located in our Providence Point Community, in Issaquah, WA. Title: Maintenance Porter (Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor) Job Status: Permanent, Full Time, Hourly Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday – Friday (Participate in 1 x month weekend Emergency Response on-call rotation) Pay Scale: $21-$23/Hourly Special $1,500.00 Signing Bonus! Requirements: Provide service in an out-side environment • Resolve conflicts in a professional manner • Ability to communicate • Ability to multi-task • Ability to work alone • High customer service skillset • Ability to lift 50lbs • Maintain a valid driver’s license • Pass drug test Responsibility examples: Learn to maintain indoor pool and spa to ensure proper water chemistry/quality and cleanliness Assist to maintain four community buildings: touch-up paint, carpentry, trim work, drywall Assist water leak investigation and cause of loss identification Assist temporary repairs to building envelope to stop water intrusions Assist roof preventative maintenance and emergency repairs Perform gutter cleaning Assist interior and exterior painting Exterior pressure washing and moss removal of streets and sidewalk and buildings Provide snow and ice removal as needed using manual methods Provide service to remove/replace spacers and or expansion joints Light changing The selected candidate is subject to a pre-hire drug screen and background check.
