Description
Have lots of babies and young ones!
They are cute and fun to watch!
They’ll sometimes climb to the highest point of your decor and reach for the surface waving their siphon. They give me a lot of laughs.
Beautiful chestnut Mystery Snails. Great aquarium cleaners! Fresh water snails. Can grow up to about the size of a ping pong ball. They’re do best in hard water with calcium added. Adding liquid calcium on occasion as directed on bottle or a Wonder Shell (dissolves in tank releasing calcium on a regular basis. Can be found on Amazon) This keeps their shells strong and beautiful. They are attached to their shell, so they are not the kind that can move into another shell. Handle carefully. They do take in air as they often climb to the top of the glass to siphon in air. Important to have air stone or bubble wand in tank for oxygen. Temps between 70 and 80 degrees is best.
They love cucumber/zucchini, kale, deshelled no salt added peas, algae wafers and more!
They do great in planted tanks. Do not eat the plants.
Do not put with aggressive fish as they may bite off their antenna. Does regrow but seems to cause them pain and suffering.
Cannot house all of them. $3 each rehoming fee
