Description

Bless your heart just for clicking on this posting! I'll get right to the point: I am a lifelong member of a local wildlife rescue/rehabilitation organization that's comprised of lots of great folks, but a lot of us start to get pretty busy as spring approaches (personally, I've been downright overwhelmed for months on end many a year, responding to seemingly endless calls from concerned citizens and losing sleep keeping up with the feeding schedules of countless hungry, orphaned wild babies). Right now I find myself in urgent need of just a little help from a couple (1-3 people should do it) of caring, good Sacra-Samaritans (get it?) to assist me with a somewhat tricky situation. I've been struggling with this primarily alone for four days now, and I'm becoming increasingly worried. I'm only withholding the specifics in this post due to concern that this very public appeal for help could somehow backfire and end up jeopardizing the safety/survival of an already particularly vulnerable wild creature. What I can tell you up front is that I am 100% legit, I am not misrepresenting myself or the situation I've described, every aspect concerning this effort is legal and conforms to all applicable laws, protections, and protocol, and absolutely NO aspect of this effort at any time- from beginning to end- will be dang This goes without saying, hopefully, but for clarity's sake: this is a call for volunteer help, no money is involved. So, if any trained rehabbers like me out there can lend a hand, or (by some unlikely miracle) any veterinary professionals, animal behaviorists, biology/zoology/forestry/ornithology* folks, farm/ranch folks, 4-H members, animal rights folks, trainers, groomers, dog whisperers/Dr. Doolittles, pet store employees, or animal lovers/experts of any stripe out there have some time today, or soon, please respond, and I'll explain the details. Thank you for reading this, and have a lovely day, no matter what. *hint hint ;)
