Job Description: QLF, Inc. is a small family owned company that manufactures animal feed additives and premixes. We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who is energetic and cheerful. Warehouse organization: Organizing products in an orderly fashion where they are easily accessible. The Supervisor will also insure that the Warehouse is clean of dust and debris. Prevent bagged product from being torn by negligence. Make sure no exits or fire extinguishers are blocked and promoting a clean and safe work environment. They will need to be trained on how to manage future computer generated warehouse inventory location of all products. Inventory Management: This involves placing a QLF computer generated QRI tag on all received products (placards on skids and bag tags on individual bags), making sure that it is entered into the system properly. All incoming product will have original lot numbers on bags transferred to a QLF generated QRI lot number. Along with this task we will require that the Supervisor physically checks the inventory and corrects it on the computer system when it is wrong, insuring that the inventory is correct and products are properly recorded. Inspect incoming and outgoing loads: Inspect and confirm that the correct bags have arrived to us or have been shipped to a customer. This task would require them to walk through all full loads and Initial/sign off on them insuring the correct order was loaded properly to the customer. All incoming inventory must be weighed to insure correct weights. Supervise the warehouse work force: This consists of giving tasks, answering any questions and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. This would be a hands on job that requires the Supervisor to fill in and help load when several trucks arrive at the same time. Also pick orders when the workload becomes heavy. Promote forklift and other safety requirements, including daily forklift inspections. This position requires good management skills with attention to details, good communications skills paired with a cheerful attitude and a good work ethic. This person needs to have computer skills to manage inventory. The Supervisor will be overseen by the Operations Manager and work closely with the Inventory Manager insuring products are not depleted. The supervisor must receive and comply with all required safety training. This shift runs from 7 AM to 5 PM Pay: $20 per hour Please email: [email protected] if you're interested.
