Hello,    Our names are Krista and Donnie, We are disabled parents of 2 teenagers on a set income of 2,100.00 a month. We owned our own home from 2011-2020, sold it right before covid hit and had an impossible time finding housing after the sale of our home. We never imagined it would be so hard to find housing once we sold our home, we didn't plan the best and suffered dearly in turn. We were homeless living out of hotels for a year, until finally we found a TINY 2 bedroom. My teenagers hated it, as there was no room for them to have alone space beyond their tiny rooms And out room was the livingroom. But, that landlord sexually assaulted me, and let himself in whenever he wanted and I feared what he may do to my daughter so we had to get out of there. We are now in desperate need of housing due to the fact that our plan to move down south fell apart. My husband's inherited estate needs electrical work, and we paid a man to do much work just to find out he wasn't licensed AND the work he did was not anywhere near up to code. My children are living with my mother up north, and so very badly want to come live with me, but I in my right mind cannot have them move down here where I am living in a camper with no running water, and no electic. But I truly miss them more than I can describe and am desperate to be a whole family again. We have a service dog which is 11 years old, she is very well behaved and we also have a puppy in which we are trying to train as her replacement as she is on her way out. He is very smart and learns commands like it is nobody's business. He is just a shy dog, as he's needs to learn confidence still. But, we are looking for a home for our family, anywhere honestly. My son wants to learn a trade (he is high functioning autsistic) so if it's a trailer park he would LOVE to be given responsibilities around the park, it makes him feel good. He wants to learn to work but it's a little hard for him. But he would work, as would my husband Donnie, with what he could. He is a handyman. He broke his foot that never healed right so he cannot stay on it very long but he knows carpentry, drywall, framing, plumbing, painting, trim carpentry, etc. He could help out with things as well, just for helping us find a home to bring our family back together. We're looking for a 3 bedroom. We need that, because when we had a 2 br nobody was happy, it was too tight for our family. But I guess it depends on the Sq ft. Our 2 bd was 600sq ft. We couldn't do that. But if you, or ANYBODY YOU KNOW, has a 3 BR apartment or house for rent that you're willing to open up to my family I would TRULY TRULY appreciate it! Please let me know.
