FOSSIL CREEK NURSERY JOB DESCRIPTION NURSERY LABORER QUALIFICATIONS:  Required to be on your feet for extended periods of time.  An awareness of and willingness to fulfill company policies and procedures.  Ability to handle heavy lifting of loads of approximately 50 lbs. safely. BASIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: People: An ability to communicate effectively with people and achieve desired results. Material: Familiarity or willing to learn proper plant care,and handling procedures. Equipment: Safety, use and care of all equipment. JOB DESCRIPTION:  Adhere to daily schedule outlined by Outside Manager, Nursery Foreman and Production Foreman.  Operation of tools and equipment necessary for nursery work including digging, irrigation repair and tree planting  Assist with delivery as directed by Outside Manager, Nursery Foreman and/or Production Foreman.  Ability to operate nursery tractor and equipment safely.  Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
