Job Description General Summary: PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME Responsible for various types of weld preparation, E.G. • (SMAW) Shielding Metal Arc Welding • Mig Welding • Stick welding • Fluxcore welding • Oxy/plasma cutting Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to demonstrate weld skills during interview. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. - Identify and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyses information skilfully - Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. - Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. - Adapts to changes in the work environment and can manage competing demands and resolve unexpected task assignments. - Individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback for self-improvement. - Individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
